I have never been a reader or a writer.
until now.

Growing up I was never that child with a book constantly and I never wrote a diary. Until now. I love delving into book pages and focusing on the endless amount of online blogs, which you find just by surfing the internet. As well as the newfound love for books I found my passion for using the alphabet to express my thoughts, feelings, ideas, and experiences just by tapping away at a set of keys. I learned that my words can bring knowledge, realization, and comfort to you, my readers. 

I hope I can be a slice of inspiration for you.

WHO AM I AND WHAT IS MY PURPOSE

I am a Health and Wellness Blogger with the vision to raise global awareness about a multitude of health topics such as Sepsis and Chronic Conditions. Over time you will find out more about my Sepsis experience, how my life changed, how I adjusted to life after Sepsis, and most of all, how to turn a negative into a positive by having a holistic approach to life.

WHAT IS SEPSIS?

Sepsis (also known as blood poisoning) is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. Normally our immune system fights infection – but sometimes, for reasons we don’t yet understand, it attacks our body’s own organs and tissues. If not treated immediately, sepsis can result in organ failure, Loss of limbs and death. Yet with early diagnosis, it can be treated with antibiotics. Sepsis does not discriminate and can affect anyone at any age.

WHAT IS HOLISTIC HEALTH?

Holistic Health is an approach to life, which focuses on five aspects; Emotional, Social, Spiritual and Mental. These parts of a human work cohesively together in order to facilitate homeostasis well-being. In short Holistic Health means that you are caring for and treating the whole of you, rather than focusing on specific parts of the body.

Providing A Platform For Others

Have you ever had someone tell you that by sharing your own life changing experience or story, it has prevented the same thing from happening to someone else. Made someone feel as if they are truly not alone. Saved a life.

I am a firm believer that it is our personal experiences which help make a difference and guarantee people sit up and listen. Raise awareness. 

The Dedication page is filled with personal letters from all around the world, raising awareness about the worlds biggest preventable killer known as Sepsis. Sepsis does not discriminate and claims the lives of between 8-11 million people globally every year. Each letter is noticeably different and helps promote that Sepsis can occur from a multitude of scenarios.

Together we can make a difference

 I offer other survivors the opportunity to take part in Anonymous and Instagram live interviews with myself. This helps highlight many different aspects of Sepsis and the dangers of falling ill to the infection. Many are tales of admirable survival and I cannot wait to share their stories with you.
